The Global Village School is open for enrollment to recently arrived refugee girls between the ages of 13-17 who have primarily resettled to live in the Clarkston, Georgia area and surrounding communities.
Applicants for enrollment must exhibit a commitment and keen interest in learning, and the ability to attend school daily. Girls are not required to have any minimum level of spoken or written English.
Priority for enrollment of new students will be extended to siblings of currently enrolled students who are interested in attending and can demonstrate the required commitment.
New students, as well as continuing students, must complete an application for enrollment and an interview for consideration by the Admissions Team. Each year students are required to reapply for admission and will be accepted based on the judgment of the Admissions Team.
The Global Village School strives for diversity in student enrollment which includes considerations of, but is not limited to, race, ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, region, place or nation of origin, religion, and language. Our Board and staff of dedicated professionals regard diversity and inclusiveness as important to the success of our mission.
