Saturday October 1st 5 students from GVS participated in a conference planned by the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. "Connecting Leaders of Today and Tomorrow." GVS was recognized as a partner organization of the NCCHR and the conference furthered the goal of GVS to continue the development of leadership skills. Panelists included Nan Orrock, Dr. Carla Stokes, Mary Pat Hector, Dawnn Lewis and Jessamyn-Ressler-Maerlander.
